The Orphee is a state-of-the-art tube CD player & DAC.
Featuring a Delta/Sigma 24bit / 96KHz Analog Device DAC, tube
regulated power supply, CDM12 Pro2 transport and USB input, the Orphée,
is Jadis first offering of an integrated USB digital input CD player
that combines the finest drive, converter and complex tube technology,
all inspired by the famous Jadis JS1.
The Orphee’s highly musical sound is very finely detailed but with an
organically natural and dense tonal balance as one can expect from
Jadis. It just does everything right and easily compared with the finest
CD playback systems on the market today. Outstanding value and very

As Beautiful Inside As It Is On The Outside
With its unique and bespoke design the Orphee is not just another
cookie-cutter CD player / DAC. This a music player that will surprise

The Orphee features seven independent power supplies fed by two
transformers (one analog and one digital), and high voltage tube
regulation for the output stage. Its as beautiful on the outside as it
is on the inside. Beautifully handcrafted with sumptuous
metalwork, exceptional fit and finish. Designed and built to last.

Features and Specifications
In addition to its best-in-class CDM12 Pro 2 Phillips CD drive, the
Orphee offers one USB Type B digital input. Outputs include: SPDIF and
AES/EBU digital outputs, and both RCA unbalanced and XLR fully balanced
stereo analog outputs.
Tube complement is: 4 x ECC82, 1 x EF86, 1 x EL86 tubes. The Orphee
features a non-magnetic stainless-steel chassis and premium passive
parts including select wire and specially selected capacitors for
optimal fidelity. Dimensions 17.9”x 4.9”x 17.7”. Weight 37.5 lbs.
