The Revolution III, like all Baetis servers, uses JRiver Media Center,
the best media playing software. The Baetis computer can rip and play
CDs, DVDs, and Blu-ray discs. And it can play any audio file format,
including professionally ripped SACDs, downloaded PCM and DSD files (the
audio format in SACDs), either in 2-channels or multi-channel, and at
any sampling rate or bit depth. For the audiophile who likes to watch
and listen to multi-channel concerts or movies, the Baetis also produces
video that is world-class. Baetis servers are the ONLY
audiophile/videophile computer with two (2) separate HDMI outputs. This
is necessary when the user’s world-class multi-channel pre/pro does not
do a truly great job at isolating video from audio. In some cases, the
pre/pro’s audio AND its video are greatly enhanced via sending only MCh
audio to the pre/pro via HDMI output #1, and sending video directly to
the projector via HDMI output #2. It doesn’t matter if you are a
2-channel-only enthusiast, or a multi-channel lover, or someone with
both a good DAC and a good pre/pro in your room – the Baetis line-up of
servers provides the very best audio and video – better than even the
most highly acclaimed universal disc players.

Features of the Baetis™ Revolution III

It is important to note that ALL Baetis media computers have the same capabilities. It is the differences in hardware
— motherboards, daughterboards, hi-def audio codecs on the
motherboards, RAM type and speed, and type of audio output (e.g., AES
versus SPDIF) that account for the major differences in audio quality.
You will hear this difference (between, say, a Baetis Revolution III and
a Baetis Reference) on a good DAC or pre/pro. As the quality of the
DAC or pre/pro rises, the difference in the audio quality becomes
greater.

1. We install in every Baetis the JRiver™ Media Center
   software (latest version installed and included in the price). This
   software will play ANY format of audio or video in 2-channels or
   multi-channels. We set up JRiver for YOUR own system, so there is no
   guess work. We can also install Roon™ music software if you wish to compare it to JRiver; or Musichi™ software.
2. An option is the installation of dBPoweramp™ CD ripping software.
   Only this software uses the Ultra Secure™ double-checking ripping
   process. This is NOT your Daddy’s free iTunes™ ripping software.
3. We can answer most questions about your home network, routers, etc, as well as your digital cabling.
4. Our Mastering Digital Audio™
   training and support is critical to learning how to make today’s media
   server do anything you wish. We are the only high-end audio/video maker
   to get online and show you how to move the cursor on the screen to
   accomplish any of the following goals. This is a MUCH better training
   process than simply reading a boring manual.
